Yirrkala Community Store is an independent community store, operating in partnership with Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation, serving the community of Yirrkala and surrounding homelands. We are here for everyday essentials, good food, fuel, and friendly service — a place the community can rely on, seven days a week.
We’re proud to stock a wide range of groceries, fresh produce, takeaway meals, household items, and fuel, alongside locally made and community-loved merchandise including Mangrove Jack’s Thongs, Sunglasses, and Soul Dog gear, as well as a practical range of camping and fishing supplies. Supporting local suppliers and producers is important to us, and we work closely with partners like Yirrkala Farm to keep fresh, quality produce on our shelves.
Our takeaway and hot food offering is a big part of what we do, providing convenient, affordable meals for families, workers, and visitors. From whole roasted chickens to daily favourites, we aim to make life a little easier for our customers.
